Welcome to The Diocese of Rockville Centre Vocations Office

Diocese of Rockville Centre - Vocations Office

The Vocations Office of the Diocese Of Rockville Centre helps men discern whether they have a call to be a priest. From the very first signs of interest, we guide men in their unique journey to hear the call of God by providing the support and resources they need to discern God’s plan for their lives.  This includes informational programs, events, retreats, visits to the seminary, and spiritual direction.  As the discernment process progresses, we work with men to determine their eligibility to apply to our seminary for the diocesan priesthood.  We also work to create a diocesan-wide culture that supports vocations, through promotion, education, and parish-based efforts to raise awareness of the priesthood.

If you or someone you know is considering the priesthood, this website will provide the information, support and encouragement needed to take the next step in responding to the call of Christ.

“There can be no Church without the Eucharist and there can be no Eucharist without priests. Simply but truly said, this should be a reminder to all of us to pray for vocations to priesthood and religious life.” – Bishop William Murphy

He entered the Cathedral Seminary House of Formation in 2010 and continued his formation at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers. He served as a deacon at St. Agnes in Rockville Centre and was ordained to the priesthood in 2015. Shortly after his ordination, Fr.
